A new safe effective way to reduce stress without drowsiness

If you have heard about the calming benefits of green tea, but are not a tea drinker, there is now a convenient way to gain the benefits. There is mounting scientific evidence that Suntheanine (a pure form of the unique amino acid L-theanine produced via a patented enzymatic process) causes the calming effect. You can now find this effective amino acid in supplements, beverages and even chocolate. One serving is equivalent to approximately 20 cups of green tea.

Additional clinical studies have shown Suntheanine to:

  • Reduce stress
  • Promote relaxation without drowsiness
  • Improve quality of sleep
  • Improve learning performance and concentration
  • Reduce the negative side effects of caffeine (i.e. the jitters)

“Although we’ve long been aware of the physical and neurological effects associated with green tea, until recently there was no economically viable method for producing L-theanine, the form of amino acid found naturally in green tea that has been shown to have so many benefits,” explained Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum. Unlike other stress reducing supplements, Suntheanine® doesn’t cause drowsiness but rather improves quality of sleep – an effect relatively unheard for prescription sleep aids.

Suntheanine stimulates production of the alpha brain waves, a state often achieved by meditation where one is deeply relaxed and mentally alert. Its effects are generally felt within 30 minutes and have been shown to last up to 8-12 hours.
